Who we are
You know us, Emile and Ciara. We do not own a company, we just want to get married. Of course we start some sort of union, but that does not make us a company, or anything close to a single legal entity.
We only have this website: emileciara2022.eu.
Your rights
If you are an EU citizen, you have rights over the data we are collecting from you thanks to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These rights include the following.
- Right to Access. Data subjects must be able to request and obtain confirmation that data is or is not being collected on them, and if so exactly what data is being collected, how, where, and for what purpose. That data must also be provided to them in an electronic format free of charge on request.
- Right to Be Forgotten. Data subjects must be provided a quick and painless way to withdraw consent and have collected data purged.
- Data Portability. Similar to the Right to Access, Data Portability requires that data subjects are able to request, obtain, and/or transfer possession of collected data at any time.
- Breach Notification. If a breach/unauthorized access of personal data takes place that is likely to “result in a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals”, notification must be made within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
RSVP
The only place on our website where you will leave a digital trace is our RSVP form. When visitors fill the RSVP form on the site we collect the data, and also store the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent that are needed for the Ninja Forms app that we are using.
Cookies created by the RSVP
If you leave a reply to the RSVP you will be asked to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last indefinitely unless you ask us otherwise.
How long we retain your data from the RSVP
Suggested text: If you reply to the RSVP, the reply and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up. If you fill out the RSVP form, we also store the personal information you provide to be able to reply to what you said.
What rights you have over your data from the RSVP
Feel free to request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data from the RSVP
Your RSVP replies may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Embedded content from other websites
On this part of your information, however, we do not have any rights ourselves.
Articles
Some articles on this site include embedded content (e.g. Youtube videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Map
Note that the map on the front page uses Leaflet and the Openstreetmaps API, and therefore does not collect any data from you.
